About

I’m a barber and hairdresser by profession, originally from Malta, with 26 years of experience in the industry, including running my own salons. My passion for sharing knowledge eventually led me from working behind the chair into education, where I completed a Master’s in Teaching and Learning and began teaching the craft professionally.Over the years, I developed a strong interest in fitness, physical activity and longevity. Wanting to broaden my knowledge and expand the areas I can teach, I embarked on a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, adding another dimension to my journey as an educator.Outside the classroom, social dancing became another important part of my life. What began as a personal passion naturally evolved into teaching, and I am now a certified Bachata Sensual instructor.Although these areas may seem very different, they are connected by one thing: my passion for learning, mastering skills and passing them on to others.

Hairdressing & Barbering

Today, I teach Hairdressing & Beauty at St Thomas More College Carlo Diacono Secondary School, Żejtun, and lecture in Barbering at MCAST.Alongside formal education, I work as a freelance barbering educator, offering personalised training for individuals and small groups, with a particular focus on traditional barbering skills and preserving the craft.Barbering Training & ServicesOne-to-one barbering courses

Physical Education

As a lifelong sports enthusiast and practitioner, I have always had a strong interest in physical activity and wellbeing. Over the years, this developed into a particular interest in longevity, healthy ageing, and the role of physical activity in long-term health.As a secondary school teacher at Carlo Diacono, I also wanted to expand my teaching areas, and Physical Education felt like a natural progression.I therefore enrolled with the Institute for Education and am currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, further expanding my professional teaching practice in Malta into Physical Education and sport.

BACHATA SENSUAL TEACHER

With a Latin American background, my passion for music and culture naturally led me into social dancing, with a particular focus on Bachata.I trained and became certified in Bachata Sensual with Korke and Judith, the creators of the Bachata Sensual style. I regularly travel internationally for training, social dancing, festivals and events, continually developing my knowledge and experience.Today, I work as a freelance Bachata Sensual teacher in Malta, sharing my passion for the dance through classes, workshops and social dancing.
